Hello, Lisa B. here! I wanted to pop on in to
introduce you to our Guest Designers for the month of March. We were overwhelmed with the amount of entries and would of loved to have picked everyone but unfortunately we could not. But in a couple of months we will most likely be doing another Guest Designer call. For the next three months you will be introduced to some talented ladies that we have picked for our Guest Designers. Please give them a warm welcome!!
Here we have the Guest Designers for the month of March. Below you will find a short Bio and a
head shot so you can become a little more familiar with them. You can click on their names to be taken directly to their blogs. Then on Wednesday you will see what beautiful creations they have created for their first challenge.
Drum roll please........
Abi R.
My name is
Abi, I'm a Mum to 2 girls. Unlike many people who craft, I haven't been a
crafter for years & years. I'd done a bit of cross stitch & inspired a friend to take up card making (which I told her I couldn't do as I had no imagination!) and she made such fabulous cards, I was in turn encouraged by her to start card making. I also scrapbook but there never seems to be enough time to do as much as I'd like. In true crafting style, what started out as 1 small box 5 years ago has grown to take over a substantial area of my house! I've tried most techniques & my current favourite is stamping. I love the versatility of stamps, there are so many techniques to use. I've been a blogger for around 18 months now & love the sense of community. There are always people ready to share their knowledge, ideas & tips. I believe that you never stop learning & you can learn from everyone. I'm very proud to be the March guest designer & look forward to sharing inspiration with you.
Hugs,
Abi xxx
"Hi! My name is Shauna K., and I craft over at SK Studios. I'm a proud Army wife, happy homemaker, organizing addict, and a blessed child of Christ. I've been dabbling in crafting for as long as I can remember, and two years ago, while my husband was deployed, I entered the world of blogging about my crafting adventures :) I'm super excited to be a Guest Designer here at the Sisterhood of
Crafters and can't wait to see
every one's projects for this month's challenges!!"
Janet Berezowecki
My name is Janet
Berezowecki and I live in Brandon, Manitoba, which is basically in the centre of Canada. I'm a card maker and have been for about 7 years. I'm
copic certified and they are my favorite tool to date, next to my
nestabilities. I teach at three
LSS, which is tons of fun. I love experimenting with different kinds of media and lately I've been experimenting with metals and different textures. In my 'other' life, I teach at my local community college, a job which I really love. I live with Ken, who is the love of my life, and my two sons, Stephen and Tanner. I'd love it if you'd drop by my blog--http://www.sonnetdesigns.blogspot.com
Jami - Sgt. Stamper
I have always been crafty, but I started blogging in 2008. I picked up my first
Copic in 2008 and was addicted, but I will occasionally use pencils or watercolors as well. Usually I make cards, but I also like making altered items, boxes, and anything else that I happen to see. I am married (20+ years) to a very patient man who supports my craft addiction. I have two wonderful boys (my youngest is in high school, my oldest is serving in the Army). By day, I am a Facilities Project Manager for a large bookstore chain in Arizona. I'm thrilled that the Sisterhood of
Crafters has asked me to join them this month, and I hope you enjoy my projects. Hugs, Jami
