Welcome to our first challenge of 2015!!
FROM EVERYONE HERE AT THE SISTERHOOD OF CRAFTERS,
WE WISH YOU THE VERY BEST IN THE NEW YEAR!!!
I never do bother to set New Years resolutions because #1 I don't stick to them and #2 I don't want to wait until a new year to start something I should do everyday. I generally strive to try my best to be the happiest and healthiest that I can, because we all know that tomorrow is not guaranteed. We get one shot at life, that is it. SO make it count!!
The one thing I am making a special focus on is cleaning and organizing my craft room so I can be more productive. The only problem is that when I clean it, I can't find anything!! lol
So to start off 2015 with a fun challenge I figured why not show off our new goodies! Many of us received some crafting goodies for the holidays or during the awesome sales we bought some stuff for ourselves to you. And if you are like me, while cleaning your craft room you found new supplies that you bought and totally forgot about~!! lol
Our very first challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters will be an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge.
But wait!!! There is a twist! You need to use a new craft supply on your project. Please note what the new product is in your post. That way we can all be envious and hey we may find out about a product that we don't have!!
But, before I share the beautiful creations by our Sisters and Step Sisters, I have some exciting news to share ... we have a
NEW SISTER joining the team.
We are excited to introduce you to ...
Anna Karasiowa
Order and Disorder or Artistic World Karasiowej
Here's a little bit about Anna ...
My
name is Anna, known otherwise for about a year now, as Karasiowa. For
23 years now, I have been a wife to Karas, a mother to two adult
daughters Paula and Klaudia, and to a teenage son Filip. I am from
Poland. I graduated from a hotel management school, and even worked in
the hotel management field for a while, however, these
days, and somewhat reluctantly, I work from home. Maybe that's why nine
years ago I put my heart and soul into cross stitching and now into
making greeting cards, which I started one and a half year ago due to a
gentle persuasion from my friends. I love doing things, which reflect
who I am. Hence, the title of my blog, "order and disorder" fits me
perfectly. On my cards, because after all, I mainly make cards, one can
find everything from artistic disorder (tears, rips), through flowers
(which
I love in the garden, but hate in the vase, because then they're too
fleeting), to harmony, which is what I also value in life, through
delicacy of lace, tulle and other details. Mostly, though, I love
layers. Still, there are so many other things, which I would like to
learn - for example, I'm dreaming of attending media workshops - so I
think that this is just the beginning of my adventure with card making.
Sorry for the LONG post today but there is just so much to share!! LOL!
