All that Glitters........

Good morning crafters! Lisa B here and I have the pleasure of hosting the last challenge of the year here at the Sisterhood of Crafters. After this challenge we will be taking a little break so we can all enjoy the holidays with our families and loved ones.

For this challenge we are asking you to make

 Christmas Sparkle!  

You can make a Christmas card/project and add glitter, rhinestones or Stickles to your project.  And since this is the season of giving gifts what would our last challenge of the year be without a prize?

We have the pleasure of having two of Fitztown's DT members on board with us for this challenge and sharing with us what they created to play along with our challenge.

The image I have used is a Christmas bell from the Fitztown collection of digital stamps. I used a two piece die cut set from Memory Box for the frame around the bell. I coloured my image with Copic Markers and glitter then added a layer of light blue glitter paper, bling and a ribbon to complete the card.

For my card I have used a image from the store at Fitztown and you find it here.

I have color it with Spectrum Noir and Tombows and the die cut have I colored with sparkling watercolors. Sparkling organza as a frame and a little bow in the corner.  On the dress and flowers have I use Stickles to get the glitter effect on the card. Finally some gems in light green and pink. Embossing!

Hi everyone, Micki here as your hostess for our new challenge! A great big thank you to everyone who joined us in our Fall challenge.  Wow, everyone submitted wonderful, awe inspiring projects!!  
Our new challenge is not going to be seasonal or holiday inspired, because - well, I don't know about you but I don't even want to think about the fact that Christmas and the New Year is literally right around the corner, lo!  Instead, let's focus on a technique. 

We challenge you to use EMBOSSING on your project.  

It can be any type of embossing, such as wet embossing with embossing powder or dry embossing using embossing folders, stylus, etc.  You get the idea, right?

Your project can be a card, 3-D, canvas, etc. 

anything that will clearly show the embossing technique!

Good morning everyone!  Lisa B here.  I will be hosting the next challenge we will be having here at the Sisterhood.  The leaves are changing, the air is crisp and it is almost time for Halloween (here in the States that is).  So we thought it would be fun to have a Fall/Halloween inspired challenge.  You can create any project you like as long as it has a Fall/Halloween theme to it. Halloween is such an awesome holiday to decorate or create for.  The colors are so fun!  And the same with Fall, which is my favorite time of the year.  So let us get crafty!

Hello and greetings from autumnal Finland! It is an honour to be Your Guest Designer. I have been retired 13 years now-disability pension-because I became seriously ill.I got a stroke,I lost my hearing completely and I became "half paralyzed". It was quite dark in my life for five years time. Anyway, here I am and in good health now at the present:) 

I have two grown up sons: The older one has been living in Norway over 20 years and the younger one lives here in the same city as I. I have four grandchildren also. I have always been creative-crafting and pottered around with many things. This card making started when I recovered after my illness. I started my blog Kaijan-arkea in 2010 and You are so welcome to visit there. I was lucky to be as a designer to Fitztown blog. I have their magnificent digi pictures. In this card I have used digi stamp from Morgan Fitzsimons; Fae 7 is the name. Isn't she beautiful? I coloured her with Copic Ciao markers.
