Forest Animals

Now that the weather has started to turn colder in preparation for the snow, my mind conjures up images of football games, bonfires, hayrides, and crisp walks in the woods. I love to hear the leaves crunch under my feet and watch squirrels, raccoons, deer and other animals scurrying through the trees and bushes.

Our theme this challenge is:

Make It Clean & Simple (CAS)

Creating a Clean & Simple (CAS) card or project can be a true challenge for some of us crafters!  So, let's make CAS as our challenge!  Here are a few guidelines for creating a CAS card:

What is CAS (clean & simple)?

1. Lots of "white" or "open" space. Open space does not have to be white. It can be different color cardstock, one layer of pattern paper, inked or stenciled backgrounds, etc. But it must be uncluttered. 

2. Limited layers.

3. Very limited or no embellishments.

4. One main focal point.

5. Quick and easy to create.

A "Wood Related" Theme for Autumn

It's time for a "Wood Related" theme to help inspire our projects!  

Katy here and it's my first time as your hostess!  So, what do I mean by "wood-related?"  Choose an image, texture, paper or embellishment (or a combination!) that makes you think of wood.  

Easy-peasy, right?
