Celebrating Easter

Nothing signals a new beginning or the arrival of Spring like Easter. Although with the extremely warm temperatures, it more like signaling the arrival of Summer.

Hi everybody, Micki here. I wasn't able to play along with our last challenge but was able to whip up a card for this challenge and we hope you'll be able to play along with us here in The Sisterhood. Sorry about the delay in announcing the winner for our last challenge.  Check back later today to find out who won the stamp set from our Sponsor Shabby Chic Stamps as well as who made Top 3.

With Easter only weeks away, our challenge is to create an
E A S T E R card or project. Easy, peasy and perfect timing to create some Easter cards for the family or even some Easter decor!

Here's some inspiration from the Sistah's:

We hope you are inspired to play along. You have until Sunday, April 8th, 8PM Central Time to play along and link up your creation below.

Please remember only 3 entries. We'll announce our TOP Sister and Sisterhood Top 3 winners on Tuesday, April 10th.

Happy Crafting!

It's an Easter Eggstravaganza

Or at least that's what I'm calling it because hey, it's my turn to host! Tanis here with the challenge - and this time around, we're celebrating Easter. C'mon...how can you not celebrate - it's the time when the most chocolates are sold. Alright, I may have made that up, but it can't be far off from Valentines or Halloween where chocolate is also in abundance. Plus, there's usually lots of cute bunnies & chicks around - and when you live in the cold North of Canada, signs of spring are always a good thing!

This challenge even has a bonus...my sweet friends at AmberInk are sponsoring the challenge. Participating in this challenge could net you a gift certificate for some fun new stamps (digis or clear) or iPapers. You will have until noon (Mountain Time) on Sunday, April 24th to show us your Easter best and then we'll be doing some winner-picking. We've have whipped up some fabulous Easter eye candy, but I'm going to start you off with something a little different - edible eye candy! That's right - don't just think stamps are only for paper crafts. They're fun to turn into good eats, too. Stop by my blog for a (somewhat) step by step to this easy peasy way to use your digis.

Now let's see what other egg-celent treats everyone has cooked up...

Please give a warm welcome to our April Guest Design Team!!!!!!!

Hello I am Suzanne aka Suzie McFloozy I am a SAHM to two very energetic (and super noisy !) boys aged 2 and 5 and wife to Kevin my lovely hubby of eleven years and counting. I started crafting when I had Issac, my eldest son, and I decided to make the birth announcements. Soon after I discovered scrapbooking and it was a perfect showcase for all the photo's that I was snapping of my new baby ! As my children grow, and spend less time sleeping, cardmaking has become my fav pastime as I can still play with all my craft stash but actually get a project finished in an evening ! My favorite techniques are stamping and using the huge array of digi's out there. And I love trying out new ways to colour in my images. I also love to make handmade flowers for my cards and try out lots of different styles x This is only my second GDT spot and I'm super excited to be here - thanks to all the girls at sisterhood of crafters for having me x Well that's enough from me lets get crafting !

I am from Ontario and a mother of 2. I started scrapbooking 9 years ago and card making 2 years ago when I started my blog to show case them. I find I love making kids cards for birthday parties and special occasions, my kids even enjoy helping me which makes it even more fun to do.

Hello! My name is Sammy, I live in Lincoln (UK) and I am 19 years old. I have been blogging for about 4y ears now and you can see my creations at: http://cricutbutterflies.blogspot.com/. My favourite type of crafting is stamping and my favourite stamp companies are Forever Friends and LOTV. I am mainly a card maker but do branch out into other crafts such as scrap booking, 3d items and jewellery. Don't forget....you have until noon (MT) on Sunday, April 24th to show us your Easter best!
